Steve MacNeil

President

Steve MacNeil

President

Steve became the President of AWP in March of 2024. He is responsible for leading the pharmacy team in the growth and expansion of our At-Home Medication Management Division.     

Steve graduated from Northeastern University, Boston in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and has been a Registered Pharmacist for over 25 years. He has experience in many aspects of the pharmacy profession, including Chain Retail, District Management, Supermarket Retail, and Independent Retail/Long Term Care/340b. For the last 12 years, Steve has owned and operated five pharmacies in Massachusetts where he designed and developed the At-Home Medication Management program.

Vice President of Business Development

Shaun joined AWP in the spring of 2024 as VP of Business Development. He brings with him more than 25 years of experience in Independent Pharmacy. Prior to joining AWP, Shaun owned and operated 5 Independent pharmacies where he focused on the sales and growth of the business using a medication compliance packaging and delivery system he helped develop.

Before opening his own pharmacies, Shaun was employed by McKesson Corporation where he served as a Retail Sales Manager in the NE region. He received numerous accolades while at McKesson, including the President’s Award as the top sales manager in the country.

Chris Mulqueen

Senior Manager of Pharmacy Operations

As the Manager of Pharmacy Operations, Chris assists AWP staff with dispensing, workflow, regulatory, and clinical concerns. Chris graduated with his Doctorate in Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester, MA. Before his time at AWP, Chris worked as a staff pharmacist for Price Chopper Supermarkets. He managed Athol Pharmacy from 2017 to 2019 and subsequently helped opened Chair City Pharmacy in 2019. Throughout his pharmacy career Chris has worked per diem as a staff pharmacist at Heywood Hospital.  

When Chris is not in the pharmacy, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog. He is also an avid drummer, both teaching and playing drums. He has performed throughout the United States and internationally in Canada and Scotland.  

Tim Fensky

Director of Operations

As Director of Operations for Advanced Wellness Pharmacy, Tim oversees the pharmacy operational teams maintaining clinical excellence and compliance with Federal and State regulations. Tim has over 30 years' operating independent community and long-term care pharmacies. He previously served as President and Chairperson at the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy for six years. He also spent seven years as a Board Member for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy and a year as President of the Massachusetts Independent Pharmacist Association. In 1993, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Northeastern University Bouve College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.  

He has received several awards for his outstanding service and commitment to his community and patients, including the Bowl of Hygeia. Established in 1958, the Bowl of Hygeia Award recognizes pharmacists who possess outstanding records of civic leadership in their communities and encourages pharmacists to take active roles in their communities. 

Jon Weiner

Jon Weiner

Vice President of Field Sales

Jon Weiner joined AWP as Vice President of Sales in 2024. Before AWP, Jon served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at VFP Pharmacy Group, a small network of specialty fertility pharmacies, for 16 years. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in facilitating two major acquisitions to BelHealth Investment Partners and Freedom Fertility by Evernorth Health Services.

Prior to VFP, Jon was a Vice President of Sales for Freedom Drug, where his leadership contributed to two acquisitions by Priority Healthcare and Express Scripts, transforming both companies into a national leader and the largest pharmacy in the fertility pharmacy space. He has also held various sales and marketing positions at PreferredTime, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, and Novartis, and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science, Business, from Boston University.

Michael Gavin joined Injured Workers Pharmacy as Chief Executive Officer in 2017. In January 2024, he became the CEO of DWP. As CEO, Michael leads the company’s efforts in providing uninterrupted prescription care to injured workers across the country. Michael has extensive experience in the insurance and medical treatment markets, providing strategic advisory services to hospital boards and medical staff and serving as the Vice President of Operations for a health services pay-for-performance start-up. Most recently, Michael served as the President of PRIUM, a medical peer review firm providing services to payers in the workers’ compensation and auto markets. Michael holds an M.B.A. from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, as well as a B.S.B.A. degree in Finance from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.

Steve joined IWP in August 2018 as Controller before being promoted to Sr. Director of Finance and Controller in 2021. In January 2024, he became the CFO of DWP.

Steve has previously served as Global Controller of Software Revenue Recognition with Revvity (f/k/a PerkinElmer), Controller of ViaCord (from Revvity), and Controller at CyberGrants. Steve also held several positions with regional public accounting firms in the New England area. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Bentley University.

Pam joined IWP in 2012 as the Vice President of Strategy and Business Development. Pam now serves as Chief Operating Officer for Dignity and Wellness Pharmacy Solutions, where she is accountable for ensuring resources are aligned to support the overall strategic direction of the business units. Functional areas include:

  • Clinical operations and oversight to ensure best pharmacy practices to drive superior clinical care to our patients, improve operational efficiencies, and ensure the highest level of regulatory compliance
  • Human Resources inclusive of recruitment, talent development and employee engagement
  • Information technology and information security to protect the enterprise as well as constantly look for new opportunities to enable the business unit’s efficiency and effectiveness
  • Revenue cycle and claims accounts receivables and cash collections management
  • Operational quality assurance to ensure lifecycle management of employee performance
  • Project Management Office (PMO)

Pam brings with her over 30 years’ experience in the workers’ compensation and insurance fields. Throughout her career, she has held diverse leadership roles in client relationship management, operations and underwriting with Sedgwick, Specialty Risk Services and The Hartford. She received a Bachelor of Arts, Management and Master of Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton.

Jayne Kresac, Esq.

Jayne Kresac, Esq.

Vice President of Legal, Government Affairs and Communications

As the Vice President of Legal, Government Affairs and Communications, Jayne is General Counsel, handling contract negotiations, providing legal advice to the company and managing outside counsel. She is also responsible for creating DWP’s national legislative strategy as well as monitoring regulations and legislation that affect the DWP community. Jayne drafts and edits external and internal communications and oversees public relations strategies. Prior to joining DWP, she served as executive director of an Arlington, Virginia-based organization where she was responsible for the overall development, management, and administration of the firm’s programs to achieve the policy goals established by its board of directors. She has extensive state and federal legislative experience. Jayne earned her J.D. from Quinnipiac University and holds a B.S. in business from Babson College, and is admitted to the Massachusetts and the District of Columbia Bars.
